Cured and Cultured
Amazing food and they really take their bourbons and mixed drinks seriously. The Manhattan is well balanced wiht a small twist that creates a delicious drink. People drive from 30 miles away for their food and Manhattans. Once they get king cubes they will have a perfect score.
Planter’s House
I absolutely love this bar, and they make a fantastic Manhattan! The bar makes its own house-made vermouth and bourbon-soaked cherries. The staff is lovely, the interior is beautiful, and it's the perfect place to enjoy an intimate night with friends. - Olivia
DelPietro’s Restaurant
Delightful family-owned Italian restaurant with a great ambiance and great food. However, they won't win any Manhattan awards. Their rendition was fair but the experience was great so I would have a Manhattan there again (maybe bring my own cherry!). - Jeff
Hop House – O’fallon IL
Overall, I did not enjoy this drink. It was reminiscent of something that I might get at "dollar night" in a crowded bar in college. If you come here for dinner and drinks, I recommend sticking with beer. - Olivia

Peel’s – (Not So) Perfect Manhattan
Peel has delicious food, especially their pizza but their "Perfect Manhattan" would not be classified as a Manhattan. It tasted like cherry cough syrup.

The Chop House in Shiloh IL offer different variations of a Manhattan. All of them are a solid well crafted cocktail.
Circle 7 Ranch
I stopped in there after receiving my COVID vaccine nearby. I was exceptionally hungry and the place looked nice from the outside. It is definitely a sports bar once you go in. Many TVs and all the same sports bar food like Toasted Ravs and Qusiedillas so don't expect anything unique compared to the 100s of other sports bars in the area.
